The Town of Prescott Valley began to develop in the late 1970’s after real estate developers bought the land from the early settlers to the area: the Fain Family. Lured by plentiful sunshine and mountain scenery, people quickly came to the area and put Prescott Valley on the map. Although the community is young compared to other cities in North Central Arizona, residents are proud of its heritage and continue to contribute to its vision, with a lifestyle to match.
Prescott Valley, which is composed of more than 30,000 people, rests between two mountains – the Mingus and Bradshaw Mountains. During the winter months, it’s not uncommon to see the peaks covered in snow, which provides a colorful backdrop to the city nestled in the valley below. Yet, with an altitude of 5,026 feet, the community experiences a mild four season climate, with 300 plus days of sunshine a year; perfect for exploring the area, either via the town’s streets or nature trails.
Prescott Valley is one of the fastest growing towns in the nation, yet remains a quiet community with affordable housing and low crime rate. There are several new developments that make up the diverse housing in the Prescott Valley area including apartments, golf course homes, retirement communities, single family homes and town homes.
